🧧 Diary Entry
Well, it’s been over 10 years, and I’m finally getting back into practice! WOW!
It’s both exciting and a bit scary.
I definitely need to brush up on my pulse taking. I used to check hundreds of pulses a month back in the day, and now, well… it’s been a while, LOL.
So, where to start?
Do I dive straight into pulse diagnostics, examine tongues, or jump into making differential diagnoses?
There’s so much to contend with.
The first thing I need to perfect, though, is my communication.
Learning what to say to my patients in a way that helps them see the big picture of what I have to offer and how I can help change their lives is crucial.
I’ll use ChatGPT to help refine some of this communication.
But I should start with what I know works – 15-minute consults and offer mini-stress treatments (because who doesn’t need one of those?).
Next, I’ll need to brush up on my conversation techniques to transition clients from a stress reduction treatment to becoming a paying patient.
Just need to review my scripts on that and get the health surveys printed for those events.
There’s a lot to set up and even more to relearn, but I’m thrilled to be on this path again. Here’s to new beginnings and the joy of reconnecting with my practice.
