  1. I closed my practice during the pandemic. My landlord started a renovation project in February 2020 – did the demolition, but never the remodel, so after 6 months, I surrendered my lease. Then in 2022 I ran for local office and won my election. Now, as I am taking ceu classes for renewing my license, I am considering starting to practice again in some smaller measure. Looking forward to conversations here!

    1. That’s great Andrea! I hope that you DO get back into practice! The world needs more practitioners like you!!! What’s your plan on starting up again? I assume you still have a client list that you can work with? I would start wit that!

  2. Hi there! I am curious about your re-emergence experience and want to see what you do to put yourself out there.
I am a relatively new practitioner (2 years in) on the East Coast which is a bit behind the Naturopathic West Coast.
I understand what applies to the West is not what applies to the East. But I am sure some things and ideas are universal!
    Good Luck on your journey!
    In health,
    Larissa.

    1. Great question. Right now I am offering free 15-minute consults, just to get people in the door and interested. My plan is to get them in, determine if I can support them along their healthcare journey, and if so, enroll them into a first-time initial consultation. In these 15-minute consults I only ask them 3 questions: what is your health objective, and what does your (problem, issue, etc..) keep you from doing and once we get you felling better again, was will you be doing that you currently are not able to do right now?

I also plan on hosting a community-style acupuncture sessions, offering 20-minute stress reduction treatments for $36 (why that number…the number 18 stands for “life”, because 36 = 2×18, it represents “two lives).

The points I will do are Shen-men and point-0 of the ear.

I have a show process I walk them through for this event tat I will share in a later update, so stay tuned! 🙂

I will also host 3 different in-clinic workshops on acupressure for stress/anxiety, immune/wellness support and sleep support. Future updates for this coming as well.
